Srinagar: Two petrol bombs were hurled towards the house of Education Minister Naeem Akhtar at Parray Pora Srinagar. However, no one was hurt.
Police sources told Rising Kashmir that two bombs were thrown at house last night. One fell in the compund and one outside. “There was no loss of life or injury as no one lives in the house” sources said. The Minister currently in an official bungalow lives in the high security Gupkar Road. However, police officials term it as serious as the attack took place in otherwise calm civil lines area.
Kashmir has been witnessing turmoil for 24 days in which 55 people have been killed so far and curfew has been in place in most of the areas.
